1. How quickly can I expect my résumé once you get started?
Typical turnaround is determined on a case by case basis and you will be provided a timeframe with our quote. Final delivery is typically one to two weeks from the time I have all necessary information. Rush résumés can be accommodated for a nominal fee. Contact me for details.
2. How do you collect information?
I use an 8-question worksheet to get your brainstorming about the initial information I need from you. I make this as easy as possible for you and compile the bulk of the information I need through phone interviews and reviews. Let’s talk, email, or chat and I will show you how stress-free this process can be.
3. Can I provide feedback and direction on how my résumé is written?
Please do! This is a client led process and I would like you to be engaged every step of the way. I value your suggestions, ideas, and feedback. After all, I am writing about YOU. It is important that I get your input early and often, if possible, in the process.
4. So I’ll work directly with you?
You’ll work directly with me, Sara. I do all the research, interviewing, and writing for cohesive resume that accurately represents you.

6. What if I don’t have a résumé?
Then you need one! It’s really not an option anymore. I can start from scratch. Let’s talk about where you’ve been and where you’d like to go. With this information, I will draft a working résumé that we will collaborate to complete.
7. How are edits and changes handled?
Revisions are unlimited.* I do not impose additional charges for revisions, as we believe in transparent and fair pricing. Our aim is to deliver a final product that not only meets but exceeds our clients’ expectations.
* It’s important to note that while revisions are unlimited, they are limited to the scope of the target job provided at the beginning of the collaboration. This ensures that the revisions align with the initial goals and objectives of the resume.
8. What about file formats?
Your final résumé will be sent in Word and PDF versions. Please let me know if you need an additional format.
9. Do you guarantee that I’ll find a job with the résumé you create for me?
No, I cannot make that guarantee, and beware any résumé writer who does.
I DO guarantee that I will create a résumé that effectively highlights your skills and accomplishments, is perfectly formatted and will attract the attention of hiring managers. My role is to create a professional résumé for you to secure interviews. The rest is up to you!
I DO guarantee you will be 100% satisfied or I will work with you until you love your new résumé.
10. Do you offer refunds?
No Refunds. This is traditional with intellectual property that cannot be returned. Please see #9.
All sales are final. We do not provide refunds or credits for any services purchased, including partially used service periods.
While we don’t offer refunds, we do understand that circumstances change. We may offer the option to pause your service for a specified period, after which you can resume without additional cost.
